Our story
Tarina Engravers is the Finnish word for story. When we started Tarina Engravers in Vantaa, the name came first — because that is what we wanted to make. Not just objects, but pieces that carry someone’s story: a name, a date, a few words that only make sense to the people they are for.
You bring the moment — a wedding date, a newborn’s name, a handwritten note, a photo you keep coming back to. We bring the craft, and check every piece by hand before it is wrapped.
Most of what we make begins as wood, because every board has its own grain, just as every life has its own rings. We also engrave leather, glass, ceramic and metal.
Alongside gifts and pieces for the home, we make corporate gifts, awards and signs for Finnish companies, with a quote and a proof before anything is engraved.
Laser engraving needs no ink and no coatings. We reuse our offcuts and ship in recyclable packaging: things worth keeping, made in a way we feel good about.
